    04/08/2020 and 08/07/2020
    Status: open
    Location: Brentwood, Tennessee

This 4-day course is for technicians who have successfully completed the I&M VESTA 9-1-1 Applied Course and have a working knowledge of VESTA 9-1-1 features and functions. The course content provides technicians with a hands-on overview of various software problems, and how to analyze, separate, and solve many common problems. I am currently studying nThe practical use of several diagnostic protocols and devices in the system to aid in troubleshooting. Verify that the database backup and restore processes are correct to maintain the database layout. Prerequisite: VESTA 9-1-1 I&M / Administrative Course

    Registration For The Course

Please complete the following fields completely to register for my curriculum. Upon submission, you will be provided with a course at the bank for product training. The information also applies to payment details.

    9.1. Debugging Cases¶

Usually create_newcase errors are reported to the port and should contain some indication of their cause.

Instead, if create_newcase fails because of a failure, a general initial check is performed to ensure that the command line arguments definitely meet the interface specifications. See Help text for proven usage.

    9.2. Troubleshooting Cime Scripts

How do you reset a Moen garbage disposal?

If any of the scenesThe Python-based cime dies mysteriously, more information can be obtained by rerunning the script with the specified --debug option.

9.3. Solving Problems With Submitting Vacancies¶

Most submission or launch dilemmas are site-specific.The ordering and execution aspects of the case.submit history are created by parsing the variables that operate in the $ CASEROOT / env_batch.xml file.

    1. Check the batching options here at $ CASEROOT / env_batch.xml. Make sure they are appropriate for your site-specific batching environment and that these queue names, time limits, and processor hardware requirements are meaningful and met on a regular basis.

    2. Make sure case.submit is using the correct batch tool to submit your specific case.submit script. Depending on the batch processing platform, this can be bsub, qsub, or a specific command. Also confirm if the “<" redirection is required. Case.submit tasks submitted are displayed when standard output is removed.

    9.4. Troubleshooting¶

To see at runtime whether the startup has completed, you should check the last lines of the cpl.log file for a line such as COMPLETED SUCCESSFUL . A successful job usually also reads the log files in the $ CASEROOT / logs directory.

      Has the entire model expired?

    • Has the hard drive limit been reached?

    • Is there an error on the machine?

    • Is the specific file system full?

If any of these events occur, please take appropriate corrective action (see suggestions below) and resubmit.

If the house is not so clear, any of the above caused the hull to fail, there are several places to find error messages.

    • 9 1 troubleshooting

Check the component log files in the go directory ( $ RUNDIR ).This directory is listed in the specific env_run.xml file. Each component writes its own directory, log, and each component must have log file types in this format: cpl.log.yyymmdd-hhmmss.Check both log files for message, errors clearly At the end or almost at the end.

    • Select this check box to get standard output and / or standard error declaration in $ CASEROOT .A standard Out / Err file often requires a significant amount of additional model output and also often contains significant system performance after shutdown.Helpful error messages rarely appear long after most of the large standard Out / Err files have completed. The rollback is triggered by looking for each error message below. For

    • Check the base files in your working directory and check them with the appropriate tool. All

    • Check the email you automatically received to see why the job was unsuccessful. Some websites planning batch processing send this.

    • Check archive list: $ DOUT_S_ROOT / $ CASE. If it was not possible, save the filesor the data may still need to be archived. General

The error occurs when a single job expires, often resulting in minimala large number of error messages.Check the daily timestamps of the template tags in the cpl.log file and the timestamps of the files on the website in the run directory to determine the start and end times of the run.If the drawing was correct but the wall clock limit was reached, decrease the stroke length or increase the wall clock setting.

If the model also hangs after a timeout, this usually indicates an MPI or filesystem problem, or of course a model problem. If you have a cynical intermittent system problem, try submitting the job again. Also send a request for help to local counselors in your neighborhood so they can sort out the system problems and help them in the end.

Another error that can cause a timeout is considered a slow node or intermittently slow. The complete cpl.log file usually displays the time used for each day of model simulation. To verify this data, enter the cpl.log file for that particular tStamp line as shown here:

Examine the programs that run at the end of each zone for each model day.dt = “is always the average time to recreate the model day, and” dt equals “is the time it takes to simulate the last model day.

Model dates are printed in YYYYMMDD format, and wall clocks may display the local date and time. For example, most of the 10120 are dated January 20, 0001, and the new model took 58 seconds that day.The next day, January 21st, 105.90 seconds were consumed. Large

A variation in the simulation for typical model days in the middle of the month indicates a healthy problem in the system. However, there are temporary fluctuations in the cost of the model. For example, usually on the last day associated with the simulated month, the model is currently writing Netcdf files, which can result in significant irregular costs. In addition, some settings read parts in the middle of the month or run physics intermittently for more than a day.In these cases, variability in the number of people is expected. Typical diversification happyit is unstable and unpredictable when variability in system performance is the main problem.

Sometimes restart files are blocked if a call times out or a disk full occurs.Except for past CAM and CLM files, all restart files are long-term sizes.

Compare the restart files with the parts of the previous restart. If the consumers do not match, delete them and defer the hard reset before resubmitting the entire job.See Section “Resuming a Race”.

It is not uncommon for nodes in the hpc system to fail and even access to large file systems is blocked forever. Before reporting a bug, make sure the case fails at the same location.

You can make a number of changes to your case by providing additional information to make debugging easier:

    • Increase the value of the XML Runtime Option INFO_DBUG : ./xmlchange INFO_DBUG = 2 .This adds additional information to help the cpl.log file. This file can be very useful if you do not are sure which component will cancel execution or where the wrong combo boxes are coming from.(This MUST NOT be restored.)

    • Try starting the process again by setting DEBUG in build-time-XML to TRUE : ./xmlchange DEBUG = TRUE .

      • This adds various run-time checks to detect circumstances such as array indexing, separating only zeros, and other floating point deviations (the exact conditions being tested depend on the flags created in config_compilers.xml <. >).

      • Often the best way to do this is to create a new bag and run ./xmlchange DEBUG = TRUE before running ./case on the treadmill .build .However, if you are having difficulty rebuilding the corpus, you may have this xmlchange command available from your corpus. then you need to run ./case.build --clean-all before rerunning ./case.build .

      • Note that in this mode, the model starts much slower, so this approach may not be possible if the business model has to run for a long time.long time before the error is thrown.(Sometimes works fine with running the model just before all errors occur in non-debug mode, create reload files, and then reboot in debug mode after rebuilding.)These estimates are also easily updated. So if an error occurs due to a rare condition, it is far from showing up in this mode.

    > grep tStamp cpl.log. * | Plus model
     tStamp_write: date corresponds to 10120 0 wall clock = 2009-09-28 09:10:46 avg dt = 58.58 dt = 58.18tStamp_write: layout date = 10121 0 wall clock implies 2009-09-28 09:12:32 avg dt = 60.10 dt implies 105.90

How do you fix a garbage disposal that won't spin?

Go back to the layout and hit the Garlito reset button at the bottom. Let the water drain into the trash can and quickly turn the switch on and off. Turn it on and off quickly. Typically, this should rotate the flywheel and cause debris to run down the drain.

How do you fix a garbage disposal that just hums?

Disconnect power for disposal.Visual inspection of recyclable consumables or foreign objects.Use just about any wooden spoon to gently squeeze the blades and also rotate them by hand.Use a hex wrench to turn the handwheel by hand.Turn part of the hex wrench back and forth.
