I’ve done a little research and can’t seem to find a solution to this problem. Once or twice (always a problem in the morning, most likely because that’s when people come in in addition to trying to print / receive the lease).

This happens before and after updates. DHCP no longer comes from addresses, but printers no longer work. The reboot is complete, this will be fixed every time. Also, when I stop trying to restart the services, the message “Not enough space to complete this process” appears.

The server also has webroot antivirus but I disabled it and after that it still happened. It manifests itself every time it happens. I looked nbut memory usage and it ALWAYS suffered from more than 3GB of free space. It happened today and this item took up 2.1 GB out of a dozen GB. Both partitions of the hard disk had 15% ~ free space. Usually, the problematic backup is not created at this stage. He is a loyal machine.

Thanks for any help. I AM if you want to prevent this.

This article provides a solution to the “Not enough memory to perform this operation” error when using a space controller to attach a computer to a region.

Applies to: Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2
    Original Knowledge Base Number: 935744

    Symptoms

If you are using a later version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 web page controller to connect a client computer running Microsoft Windows XP later or later to your domain, you may receive an error message on that separate computer, similar to below: p>

The following error occurred while trying to register for domain “domain_name.com”: Not enough disk space to complete this process.

Additionally, a warning message may be logged in the system log on the client computer:

    Reason

This issue occurs because the Kerberos token, which is clearly generated during authentication, exceeds the specified maximum size. In the original release of Microsoft Windows 2000, the default value for the MaxTokenSize registry entry must be 8000 bytes to unlock. In Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) and later Windows alternatives, the default value for the MaxTokenSize registry entry is often 12,000 bytes.

If a user is a member of a group for practical purposes, either directly or closely associated with another group, the security identifier (SID) of that group is appended to the user’s exact token. For the SID to be permanently added to the token, the user’s SID information must be sent using the entire Kerberos token… If the required SID is larger than the token size, the verification will fail.

    Resolution

dhcp error 14 not enough storage available complete operation

To resolve this issue, increase the size of the Kerberos token. Always perform these steps on the client, the computer that is logging the Kerberos event.

    1. Click Start, Run, type regedit and click OK. AND

    2. Find and click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Lsa Kerberos Parameters

      Note

If the parameter key does not exist, create a dot. To do this, follow these steps:

      1. In addition to clicking, locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Lsa Kerberos
      2. From the Edit menu, select New and / or click Key.
      3. Enter parameters and press ENTER.
    3. On the Edit menu, point to New and select DWORD Value.

    4. Enter MaxTokenSize and press ENTER.

    5. If you change the plan, click Change.

    6. Under Range Base, click Decimal, enter 65535 for the case value, and click OK.

      Note

Default value for recordingThe MaxTokenSize registry value si is the approved decimal value of 12,000. We recommend that you set this registry value to the new decimal value 65535. If you set the hexadecimal value of this registry value to 65535 incorrectly, Kerberos business authentication may fail. In addition, errors can occur in programs.

    7. Close the registry editor.

    8. Restart your computer.

This passage, method, or task contains steps that explain how to modify the registry. However, if the registry is configured incorrectly, serious problems can occur. Therefore, be sure to follow these steps carefully. For Shield, the registry is saved before editing. You can then restore this registry if you run into problems. If the primary parameter key does not exist, create a specific key. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Then locate and click the following PC registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Lsa Kerberos
    2. From the Edit menu, select New and click Key.
    3. Enter parameters, then press ENTER.

By default, the input MaxTokenSize entry is 12,000 decimal. We recommend setting this registry value to 65,535 decimal for clients. If you mistakenly set this input registry to the ideal hexadecimal value of 65535, Kerberos authentication will most likely fail. In addition, errors can occur in programs.
