How To Install DHCP Service On An Existing Server

1. Click “Start”, select “Control Panel” and click “Add or Remove Programs”.
2. In the Add / Remove or Programs dialog box, click Add / Remove Windows Components.
3. In the Windows wizard, components select network services from the list of components, then click Details.

How To Configure DHCP Service

Clients Cannot Get IP Address

If no address is configured for the DHCP principal, the Internet usually indicates that the client was probably unable to contact the DHCP web server. This issue can be caused by almost any network problem or unavailable DHCP host. When the DHCP server completes the first step and other clients have received valid jobs, verify that the client has a logical network connection and that all associated client hardware devices (including cables and command adapters) are working correctly.

DHCP Server Unavailable

If the DHCP server does not offer leased addresses to clients, this is often because the DHCP service is not running. In this case, the server is strictly prohibited.Working in a network group.
