If you know how to find the DOS version of Windows XP on your system, this guide should help you. 3 reviews. Windows XP does not contain MS-DOS. You must run emulated DOS in DOSBox, but programs running in this safe will not have access to the BIOS.

Windows has utilities that tell us which version of the Windows operating system is running on a computer, including the service pack number. Check The Version Where The WMIC Command Is Installed

Run the following WMIC command to get the operating system version and service end number.
