We are trying to create a required roaming profile through Windows 18 10.03 (we are using some Windows 12 R2 servers). Hope your solution works like our VM / VDI environment. We can get a temporary profile in our clones. We want to fix this: by going into some kind of Regedit -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows NT -> ProfileList. Find in subsection each user account and delete it. We also reset / clear the PC operator account on the profile server by deleting it as well. Then it updates the user account when logging in and has to delete the temporary profile. This issue has been resolved for all “temporary profile” tags during registration. You can also check your user account afterwards. When you open the CMD line, either the visitor or the pace is displayed. Temp means your profile help is not working as expected.

Resolution
Make sure the failed profile lookup is set to READ ONLY in the NTUSER.DAT or USERCLASS.DAT file so that it can be loaded.
New user profiles are created from C: users default when you first log into the account.
