You can easily use any of the following programs to identify and fix problems related to the 2007 Office programs that you believe. already installed

Method 1: Run Microsoft Office Diagnostics

Follow these steps to run some of the Microsoft Office diagnostics from a 2007 Office program:

1. Run someone’s Office Diagnostic Tool. To do this, use one of the following methods:
   • For a 2007 Office program with a single menu, click Office Diagnostics inHelp menu.
   • For the 2007 Office Ribbon Program, do the following:

a) Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Program Options.

Note. In this variant, “Program” represents the name of some programs.

b) Click Resource in the navigation pane.

c) Click on Diagnostics.

1. Click Next.
2. Click Start Diagnostics.

Note. If Office Diagnostics finds a problem, it will try to fix it. Problem.

1. When you have finished using this Office Diagnostic Tool, click Close.

Note. The Microsoft Office Diagnostics feature can also be launched from the Start menu. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On Windows, click Start.
2. Point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Office, point to Microsoft Office Tools,then click D Diagnostics of Microsoft Office.

Method 2. Perform detection and repair function

1. Click Start.
2. If open source Windows Vista or Windows works better, copy and paste the following command in the Find Programs and Files box. then press ENTER:

If you are using Windows XP, click Copy, Run and paste (or type) the following command in the Open box, then click ENTER:

appwiz.cpl

1. Click the 2007 Microsoft Office common name that you want to override, and then click Change.
2. Click the Repair option, and then click Next.
