Bad connection between your computer and scannermay result in the error message “Scanner cannot establish a connection to the PC” or may cause several errors. This can happen on almost any combination of computer and scanner manufacturers for a variety of reasons, including Racer obsolescence and improper installation.

Check And Reconnect Connections

The simple reason your computer might not recognize the scanner is weak tandem. Check all USB cables, connectors, and power adapters to make sure they are secure. – If you can return to scanning with another application, skip to PART 3.

– If you do not want to perform a position scan, this solution does NOT apply. See Generic product “cannot scan” depending on operating system and connection type.

1. Download the ControlCenter4 Update Tool from the Brother Control website: Update Center Tool

– Click here for instructions on “navigating the Brother website”.

NOTE. If the ControlCenter4 Updater is not available for download for your computer, complete PART 4.

2. Find the file you can download CC4Updater … and double click on it.

5. Locate the uncompressed ControlCenter4 Updater.exe file and double-click it.

7. When the installation is complete, select “Yes, restart your new computer now” and click “Finish”. The mobile computing device restarts.

8. Try scanning again using the “Or Scan” button in the Control Center:

– If the document has been successfully scanned multiple times, the problem isundoubtedly resolved.

– If you still get the complete error message, skip to PART 4.

Before uninstalling, make sure you have a compatible golf driver disc or you can download any software to reinstall it.

a. Click Start (All) => Programs => Brother => MFL-Pro or XXX-XXXX (device model) => Uninstall.

b. You will probably be asked if you are sure that your entire family wants to uninstall this software. Click YES.

in. The Brother MFL-PRO uninstaller will open. Click OK. Removal begins.

d. After removing the software package, select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” and click “Finish”. Your computer restarts and the MFL-Pro package was removed from your PC a long time ago. Go to PART 4, STEP 2.

1. Click Brother Utilities.

1. Click start = “2” in the drop-down list to select the human model, if not actually selected.

3. Click Tools.

4. Click Remove.

5. The Brother MFL-Pro uninstall window will open. Click OK.

6. Deletion continues. You may be prompted to customize the uninstallation process. In this case, click OK.

7. Once this is complete, a window will appear with the message: Windows must be restarted for correct uninstallation. For USB TV users: Disconnect the cable from the Brother machine.

h. Select “Yes, I want to restart” to now see “My Computer” and then click “QUIT.” Your computer will restart and the MFL-Pro Suite is removed from your computer. Go to PART 4, STEP 2.

2. After uninstalling the Brother software, turn off all anti-virus and spyware programs and clean the Windows registry software on your computer, then reinstall the Brother MFL-Pro software. with the compatible software disc on the other side. Full download of driver and firmware.

3. After Brother installs the software, check by scanning the Brother ControlCenter.

– If error It is not fixed, the problem is related to the registry settings of your working body. The problem is with your computer. You can scan by choosing a different method. For additional operating system support, contact your computer vendor.
