    • Question

    • I have a Linksys wireless music bridge, also known as wmb54g. It works best with good Windows XP SP3, I was also told that it also works with Windows Vista SP1. When I tried it on Windows 7 RC 7100, I was unable to get the application to work as expected. The Wireless Music Bridge 1.3 utility loads correctly and launches Windows XP (and Vista, I suppose) compatibility, but the utility that finds the WMB54G device on my network. I’ve tried LOTS of different solutions using Sondigo’s sirroco drivers and utility, and often put various applications in the Linksys folder, not to mention the Windows system folder compatibility mode, which WinXP and Vista have but is completely unavailable. The utility is running, but it looks like the music bridge is not finding correctly (in that case the exe plus the utility), I can get most of the t. However, when a bridge appears and a connection needs to be established, stay connected, remembering that playbackThere is still no sound. Even if I change the side of the audio device on the device, no sound should be played.

Is there any? Is there any other formula for this? I really want this wireless audio bridge to work on Win7, otherwise I will be using Windows XP. I would also prefer a robust solution that doesn’t require manually launching many different exe files. It should just WORK. This is in part a working Linksys update that boils down to compatibility with Windows 7, but it may also be Microsoft’s job to ensure that companies do not compromise compatibility with this software.

    • I have a Linksys wireless music bridge, also known as wmb54g. It works great thanks to the good Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) and I’ve always been told that it works with Windows Vista SP1 too… When I tried it on Windows 7 RC 7100, I was unable to get the application to work properly. Instant Music Bridge 1.3 installs correctly and then launches. Compatible with Windows XP mode (and Vista too, I suppose), but the utility cannot find the WMB54G main unit on my network. I have tried LOTS of different solutions using Sondigos sirroco drivers and utility and all the different options in the Linksys folder and Windows system folder in WinXP compatibility mode as well as Vista to no avail. It seems wrong that a musical bridge has been found. ON a RARE and a fortunate occasion (after running cmflywav and other exe and utilities manually) I see a bridge that pops up and connects, but no sound is constantly playing. Even if I switch the sound of the device away from the recorder, the sound will not be played.

Is there any other solution for this? I really would like to use this bridge of my mobile phone in Win7, otherwise I will be left with Windows XP. I would also prefer a solution that doesn’t require manually launching three separate exe files. It should just WORK. This is often part of the Linksys assignment update forcompatibility with Windows 7, but Microsoft must also make sure that they are not compatible with this software.

I have a Linksys wireless music bridge, also known as the new wmb54g. It works great with Windows XP SP3 and I was told that everything works with Windows Vista SP1 as well. On Windows 2011 Energy Tax Credit RC 7100, I was unable to get the software to work properly. The Wireless Music Bridge 1.3 feature installs correctly and can be made compatible with the mode set in Windows XP (and Vista too, I think). but some utility cannot find the WMB54G device on my network. I have tried a LOT of different cures using Sondigo’s sirroco drivers and utility, all the various applications in the Linksys folder and the Windows system folder in positive WinXP and Vista compatibility mode, to no avail. The utility works, but it looks like it doesn’t just find the electric rock bridge. RARE and luckyIn this case (after starting cmflywav and various executable programs, and then manually launching the utility), I will most likely get a bridge with an additional display Connected, but there is still practically no sound playback. Even if I change the device sound to the audio device side, my sound will not play.

Is there something else for this? I really want to use this wireless audio bridge under Win7, otherwise I will stick with Windows XP. I also walk alone. prefer One solution that is not involved is to assign the start of 3 different exe files. You just need to WORK. This is part of the Linksys compatibility update for Windows 7, but it’s also Microsoft’s job to make sure they don’t break compatibility with this software.
