Problem

• 

  We reboot regularly every two nodes, and sometimes one of the nodes starts without rgmanager because it says “Waiting for quorum … Timeout while waiting for cluster discovery”

  cluster being started

   :   Check when the cluster has been deactivated. Start with ... [OK]   Network manager checked ... [OK]   Global configuration ... [OK]   Kernel components are loading ... [OK]   Configuration attached ... [OK]   Run Cman ... [OK]   Waiting for Quorum Transition ... Waiting for Cluster Timeout[FAILED] 

• After rebooting, we see that the 3rd cman node did not start successfully and did not join the cluster

    # Help on cman statusclosed stopped# service rgmanager-statusannoying rgmanager but pid file exists 

Environment

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with High Availability Add-in
• Multiple clusters when comparing two nodes
• cman chkconfig installed in download

I want to configure 2 node clustering in RHEL-5. but after completing the setup (via system-config-cluster), when I try to start the cman service, I get an error.

Starting a cluster: loading modules. .. done
mount configfs … done
starting CCsd … done
starting cman … failed
cman not start: own node name in cluster.conf / usr / sbin / cman_tool not found: aisexec daemon failed to start

I need some time to set up clustering of 2 nodes in RHEL-5.

Please help to solve this problem ………

Make sure your node’s host domain name is the same as cluster.conf.
It is important that node discovery can be enabled – it is assigned to the path
interface on the system.
