Method 8. Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. *

1. Download the MicrosoftFixit50202 package and save it to your computer.
2. Run the MicrosoftFixit50202 tool.
3. Accept the license agreement, then forcefully click Next.

Method 3. Repair invalid / missing registry keys on a working system.

• Press Windows + R Ideas at the same time to open the RUN window.
• Fill in the “Open” field during the “WORK” period: regedit
• Press Enter.

2. Tap the “+” logo in the left pane and navigate to this subfolder:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet services BITS

4. Give the exported file a broad name (for example “BITS”) to save it to your desktop.

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet services wuauserv

7. Give the exported file a name (for example, “wuauserv”) and save it to this desktop.

9. Copy the exported registry files to a specific USB drive.

Windows is missing many update services or BITS services (not listed) on the computer.

1. Insert the USB stick containing the exported reg files into a nearly empty USB port.

2. Double-click the exported BITS registry file (for example, “BITS.reg) and allow you to add your information to the registry. *

3. Double click the sold wuauserv log file (eg “wuauserv’.reg”) and allow your information to be added to the registration. *

* Note. If at this timeIf you run into problems, start Windows in safe mode and in this case import the key (s).

Method 4. Download and import the required registry files.

• Press the Windows + R keys at the same time to open the RUN window.
• Fill in the “Open” field in the “STARTUP” window: regedit
• Press Enter.

2. Select “File”> “Import”
from the main menu.3. Select the BITSWin.reg file and click “Open”. (In this case, if the import was successful, click OK to open the dialog that appears. *
4. Select File> Import WindowsUpdateWin.reg file again.

* Note. If the import fails, always start Windows in Safe Mode and then import the registry files.

• Press the key at the same timeVichy “Windows” + “R” to open the RUN window.
• Fill in the “Open” field in the STARTUP window: services.msc
• Press Enter.

2. Right-click the BITS service and select Properties.
3. Make sure the Startup Type is set to Automatic (Delayed Start) and click the Start button to start the products (if not already running). Click OK.
4. Then right-click the Windows Update software and select Properties.
5. Make sure the start input is set to (Delayed “auto start”). Also hit the start button to start the entire service (if not already running). Click OK.
6. Try to check the news again.
