I have communications between 2003 and 2007. In 2007, the organization finally consists of two CAS, two HTs, and two independent corporate mailbox servers. On the original mail server, I created a public folder store (manually) and set up replication between some organizations in 2003 and 2007 (free / busy information).

Due to all but the following noise, my partner and I receive an error every 25 minutes regarding my second mail server:

I looked through the information provided by Microsoft on this and found the following information:

This error event means that the Microsoft® Exchange Server that registered this Event, Failed to initiate a MAPI session with the public folder store.

The following did not help: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3336195&SiteID=17 because the method has no cluster.

Implementation: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2005/07/29/408394.aspx only applies to Exchange 2000 / A 2004 doesn’t work for 2007 (I really can’t find the registry keys mentioned)

Same goes for http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918006 (LAN Manager authentication settings are set to 2. According to the document, they should be set to 1 when Windows NT is running). Machines 4.0 in the title of your site, which is actually not the case.

Hopefully this can be fixed if I create a second public folder on this second mailbox server right now and reproduce some free / busy time information there, but this is not necessary.
