Open user accountsusers by clicking the Start button, simply clicking Control Panel, User Accounts and Family Safety, User Accounts, and then clicking Manage Another Account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, enter the password or provide confirmation.

Microsoft has introduced a new security measure to protect Windows 7 with a proprietary feature called User Account Control (UAC). UAC helps protect against malware, possibly hackers. Whenever a program wants to make major changes to the system, the UAC type asks you if you accept the change and if your account has very important administrator rights. If you have a non-administrator account (standard user), you will already be prompted for the administrator account password to make changes. You can temporarily raise your permissions to prepare the issue. This is how you get your privileges back.

    1. Step. If you have a great account with administrative privileges, you will always be prompted to use U checksAC if someone changes something. In normal state, administrators are usually protected administrators, and in high state, they are called “elevated administrators”.

    2. If you plan to use the standard custom service, the “User Interface for Credentials” dialog box will prompt you for an administrator account password so you can complete the task at this time.

    3. Step programs require elevated administrator rights with an asterisk. Below is a screenshot of my control panel -> Administration window. Each program it contains needs to be upgraded.

    4. User Account Control settings can be changed to “Warn me every time” or “Never” (not recommended). Changing UAC settings is a snap. In the Start menu, find the UAC theme and style and click Change User Account Control Settings.

    5. The Step UAC setup period will open, and you can usually use the slider to change the UAC alerts. RecommendedI want to be notified as soon as the program tries to make changes to your entire system.

User Account Control protects your computer from malware and cyberpunk. UAC should be used to help your whole family keep up with programs when trying to make changes to the system.

The command line allows you to view programs, manage Windows settings, and access recording data by entering the commands you want to run. To start the command line, all you have to do is type cmd.exe in the search box for the startup recipe, or click Start, then Accessories, and then the asterisk in the command line. A window called Command Prompt will appear, which will open in your website visitor profile folder and wait for you to place orders on the marketplace. An example of this request is shown below:

The problem with the standard prompt command is that your commands you run will work unless you have administrator legal protection. This waySo you can’t run commands or access files if you need those permissions.

To do this, we need to open a so-called elevated command prompt in position, a command prompt with which you, especially as a computer administrator, can access files and drawings. There are three methods that can usually be used to optionally open an elevated command prompt, I have described them below.

To do this, you need to run the command line as administrator. You can find out by clicking the Start menu, optionally selecting All Programs and then Accessories. You will now see a shortcut called Command Prompt. Right click and select Run as administrator as shown below.

When you click Run as Administrator, you will see a User Account Control prompt asking if you want to allow the change request on your primary computer.

Click the Yes button and the user will see an elevated prompt. With the rights as shown below.

Note that a particular elevated command prompt on Windows runs as a System32 folder, such as C: Windows System32 , not a user profile. This elevated command prompt can now also run programs to access files that require administrator rights.

You can probably also run cmd.exe from the search box in the Start menu with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Enter. To use this course, click the start menu and type cmd in the search box, as shown in the image below.

After you launch the various cmds, press the key combination Ctrl + Shift + Enter and / or cmd.exe will start as if you had chosen Run as administrator. You may see a User Account Control prompt asking where you want to allow the change request to your computer. Click the Yes button and you are now at an elevated command prompt.

If you find yourself using the extended command line a lot and want an easier wayWhen launching it, you can perform a limited shortcut from the desktop or possibly from the taskbar. To do this, you can click “Start”, then select “All Programs” and then “Accessories”. You will now see a shortcut titled Command Prompt. Right-click it and drag it to your desktop and duplicate it there, select Pin to Start Menu or Pin to Taskbar (Windows 2 only). Once you have the command line shortcut in the instances you want, right-click this situation and select Properties.

On the Properties screen, make sure you follow the shortcut and click the Advanced button. You are now on a screen similar to the following.

On this screen, check the Run as administrator box as shown above and click OK. Then click OK, click again to exit the shortcut properties without hesitation. If you now double-click the type of shortcut, the Command Prompt will automatically start with elevated privileges.

For more information on the command line and available codes see our introduction to the complete guide to the Windows command line. As always, if you have any questions about this process, feel free to contact us on our Windows 5 forum.
