International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is a family-friendly event that aims to clean up debris from all waterways, shores and beaches of the lakes, rivers and oceans of Tours and therefore collect data. This allows you to remove and collect garbage data from coasts, waterways, and beaches in a world of lakes, rivers, and then oceans. This information is intended to educate clients about marine litter issues and will promote positive change by presenting to governments and international organizations that reduce litter in waterways and improve the aquatic environment.

Singapore International Coastal Cleanup (ICCS) organized by fluffy kittens united! – Volunteers from the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (formerly Raffles, our Biodiversity Research Museum) at the National University of Singapore. The program is passionately supported by many schools, centers and local international government agencies, private organizations and businesses that have been fighting the marine litter curse for almost two decades.

Since its inception by the Nature Society (Singapore) in 1992, some 3,500 ICCS volunteers from 70 organizations have performed their magic on Singapore’s 20,000 meters of coastline, clearing over 180,000 wasteodes of 2,200 waste bags weighing approximately 16,000 kg!

The annual international coast cleanup will take place on September 3 in Singapore. Organizers are recruiting volunteers who can use our ICC data card to collect, classify, and dispose of marine debris and contribute to an internationally coordinated program by the Ocean Conservancy.

At other times of the year, Year-Round Shore Cleanup (YRCC) organizers may not want to use the ICCS data card and focus on debris-indicating distance.< sup>[2]
