It looks like some of our readers have encountered an error code with an internal kernel error: oops 17. This issue occurs for a number of reasons. Let’s discuss it now. g.Page faults should not crash the kernel, because ideally not all kernel crashes are page faults. So there is a great photo: 17 has nothing to do with mistakes on the world wide web. (And besides, my crazy scheduling assumption just seems familiar.) It sounds like you’re curious about the ARM Failure Status Register (FSR) bits.

    g.

    Hello friend!
I am using Raspberrypi 3B card as WiFi station mode to connect to hotspot. The WLAN connection is established by wpa_supplicant with 802.1X authentication parameters. ListTo 802.1x parameters – – below:

    • key_mgmt WPA-EAP
    • eap: PEAP
    • Prototype: WPA-RSN
    • in pairs: CCMP
    • Group: CCMP
    • Network Identity
    • Password

Initially, the wireless connection was correct. I practiced wpa_cli every two minutes to reassign the AP with the same settings. In other words, the rp 3b card evaluates 802.1x access authentication every two minutes. After many successful re-associations, the core went awry. The system log is displayed

How to look for Linux kernel oops error codes?

For more information on finding Linux crash analysis see Linux oops-tracing. Below you can probably find out how you are doing: 17 [# 1] PREEMPT SMP arch / arm / kernel / traps.c: Page faults should not cause the kernel to crash, and not all kernel crashes are page faults.

Syslog learned core Internal error: Sorry: 17 [ # 1 ] SMP ARM for BCM2835. After wpa_supplicant fired, the system’s CPU usage slowly but steadily increased and reached 100 or more (measured in uptime). And then the Linux system should work. SSH could not be reached, but the icmp ping is still active.

I tried the above test several times on the same Raspberry Pi 3B cart. The kernel bug issue can be simulated. Kernel firmware has been updated to the latest version 4.14.90-v7 +.
