If you need to regularly access shared resources, consider otherThis is a common accessor method called shared resource mapping. You can use this policy to assign a letter to a specific drive or shared folder on a specific network. Just like your C: hard drive, your floppy drive is only named A :, you can assign your Family Stuff folder F: and your Jaz drive in the kitchen as J:.

With the new HomeGroup feature in Windows 7, this situation makes it easier to communicate between computers. Add operator credentials, uncheck “User must change password at next login”, then check “Password never increased” and click Create.
Close the New User screen and you will see the visitor you created in the list. After adding the current user, you may need to restart XP before proceeding to the next step.
