I’ve been working with four Sharp MX-3501Ns for a week. two of them are in different places with A customer, so the other two are in my online circle. I am less worried about the two that are on my network as we scan any desktop and it only works usefully (only when trying to scan to email or network folder on my network there should be this error message too). However, one of the people below sent strange emails a few days later to one ofpeople on my network that I also wanted to scan for scanning to email, indicating that the SMTP request failed. The problem has been resolved. For future technicians who have a lot of problems.

I have a copier today. When I started configuring the SMTP parameters as a client, I made sure that my most important server parameters were correct and that the DNS parameters also matched those on the command line> IPCONFIG. If you click Run, they will all receive an SMTP Server Test Successful message. Before I even go to the copier, I always taste the email notification, post my email address and hit send to make sure I got the email and I got it. I go to training later and also get frustrated when I send an email to a real user who gave me the “selected hosting server not found”.

Thanks to work experience, this message is conveyed through 4 facts.

1. Firewall in the router.
2. Copier port settings.
3. Incorrect main SMTP server settings.
4. Incorrect DNS settings.

This quickly fired the top three. Leave me the correct DNS, thank goodness Google, whose DNS is now … public.

DNS has been successfully changed in 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Google.com for the domain also performed well.

Now, you may be asking, “But … how did you receive a specific email notification?” I’m not sure. But hey! If yes, please inform our company about it.

Scanning processTattooing has been normal for 1 year, at least since last month, scanning to a folder mapped to the network does not work and the device displays the following error:

The selected servers were not found. Contact this network administrator.

• I am checking the printer to communicate with a file on the web server and vice versa and it is really successful.
• I tried scanning to an email address but it was still successful.
• I turned off the firewall and actually tried a scan, but it is not a scan.
• I removed all the latest updates, but it still doesn’t work
• Server Workstation Group Policy vehicles are changing!

Nothing has been applied to the print server lately, and I’m not sure what could be causing the error.

SMB updated to version 1. Your Sharp MFP (depending on model) may usually have a firmware update to correct the disease. When doing so, the scanner will almost certainly tell you that the destination does not currently exist, or that the authentication has changed, even if it has not been updated in the MFP’s address book.

I almost understood the reason for many of the scan errors. After installing all these Windows Security Updates (KB3161949), I canceled the scan on this withserver.
