Regular maintenance of the mower avoids problems and prolongs the service life of your lawn mower. But even with the TLC series, the normal wear and tear from mowing the lawn for many hours at times increases the chance of breakages.

Warning: Always refer to your Owner’s Manual to see who can before starting a maintenance project for your equipment.

Starter Rope Is Difficult To Pull Or Seems To Be Stuck:

A common reason for this is when a person engages the flywheel brake (the rod that you and your family members hold on the handle that locks the engine when released). Be sure to lower the bar in all directions towards the handle before pulling.

This can also happen if your mower slips on the grass or gets clogged with cut grass. Move the mower from a good lawn to a firm surface. With the mower turned off and the connecting cable disconnected, remove any excess cuts from the underside of each mower, then return to the safe mowing position and pull again.
