Av OorSubject: Error “Press F4 To Continue Setting” (9268 Readings)

This BIOS was updated when the boot screen changed, after which the message “Press F4 in path to resume configuration” is still displayed during boot. The screen shows my system configuration. My hard drive is almost certainly in slave mode and CD-RW learn mode and below shows you press F4 to continue with the installation and then start XPP after pressing F4 only after errors in XP:
– It finally cannot burn CDs. While nero is using it, it is usually asked to enable DMA, even though I enable it in many article directories – safe mode is not included. When entering Safe Mode, the laptop will restart again.
I took out each CMOS battery and put it back in in the name of resetting the BIOS, but the trick persists. I formatted the operating system drive the same way, but after re-enabling XP, the problem still persists.

If you have a solution that might help you, I googled it, but probably not the one that was accurate. This forum seems to beI am very active.

Disconnect the data cable from the CD and you start the machine … if it starts normally, the jumpers on both drives are not set correctly.
The hard disk must be the master or “master with slave present” … and the real CD must be the slave.
If you have 2 IDE connectors, split the 2 drives later, otherwise connect them as follows:

This is usually a boot screen showing that the hard drive is the master and slave CD-RW.
Could you briefly mention how to make the aforementioned settings (.. I haven’t played?) the ones related to internal cables, mention them in detail).

The relief in my last post is the IDE cable type … the flat gray flat cable that connects all drives to the MBoard. E a new cable through which data is transmitted.

There is usually a 4-pin connector on every drive … this is the power connector.
Cables are usually keyed so they can only be short-circuited once, but take your time and of course ask how they are usually connected.

Yes, I unplugged the new CD-RW data cable, but it didn’t work. Then I plugged in the data cable and then turned off the SMART option for the slave drive (this is the hard drive, currently), which is removed every time I press F4 to continue with the installation error, but the CD keeps working. there are no errors yet. A blank disc is not readable and hence the No Disc error always occurs when writing an image file to a CD-ROM that was used to work correctly before updating the previously boot partition with the same sweater manufacturer because I never changed the sweater setting) …
