Set Parametermain|”MyHost-VirtualBox”|C|setup export SGE_ROOT and running sudo Satisfaction /etc/init.d/gridengine-master start didn’t help. I think that the service is not working normally. Should I render env more variables or file?

Run the Ubuntu installer. Installing sudo apt-get set gridengine-master and gridengine-client accepts all defaults.

I just used gridengine and got an error when running `qstat`:

Error: commlib error: selection error received (connection denied)
Error: Sending message to Qmaster with 6444 plugins on host has no effect

Setting `export SGE_ROOT` and calling `sudo service
/etc/init.d/gridengine-master start` did not help. I really feel that the service
is not working. Should I set up additional environment variables or a config file?

Operated by Ubuntu. Installed `sudo apt-get puts in gridengine-master
gridengine-client` and accepts all defaults.

Works in Ubuntu. Installed with `sudo install apt-get gridengine-master , then gridengine-client` takes all default valuesFinally.

I have no idea what the problem is with Ubuntu. But usually, you first need to run 2 configurations – one master, one client. Did you pass “install_qmaster” to $sge_root? doesn’t install anything important, just configures the GridEngine.

The same goes for qstat and every other SGE command imaginable.

Solution:
It’s obvious – restart services immediately. I mean, it took me twenty minutes to think about it, but it should have been obvious. Most service time maintainers use the texts in the /etc/init.d/ file, and this is also the case on this page. Well, I bow my head in sympathy, here is the solution:
