When I select Restart Firefox to Refresh in Firefox Grocery or Nightly, I get over 80% core pressure and panic on my iMac Pro with T2. Closing Firefox and thus refreshing on next boot triggers kernel panic around 25% of its schedule. I was struggling with this issue, everything points to the beta phase of macOS Big Sur which is the final version 11.0.1. I also didn’t find anything here on the r / MacOSBeta and Mac Rumors forums, so I’ll take the initiative and ask here. Do those who have another Mac with T2 have such a problem?

I deleted my profiles and reactivated the track, the problem persists

I’m very happy and will continue to use Firefox, but hopefullyfix it shortly.
I uninstalled applications, although I still assumed the kernel was panicking after two overnight updates.

If the situation remains stable, I usually add applications one at a time so that you can determine the cause.
No glitches when updating nightly features per day. One of the programs listed above caused a Firefox update stuck.
I had a little, just less, kernel panics after shutting down hardware development and uninstalling applications. Then I found other users with the same problems. If you encounter kernel panic on Big Sur, run the following errors:

I don't know if your Firefox has a problem, but I thought about checking it out, in part because of this line:BSD level name as per current stream: Firefoxin the system log.
All kernel crashes, blue kernel screens, panics and freezessystems are not Firefox garbage. Firefox, like any other user-mode application, cannot call such things, but it can also cause an error in kernel-mode gadgets (example: video card driver).We can only find workarounds for the worst of these jurisdictions.
Gary, on bug 713305 starting at (should be this morning) we randomly force Firefox to stay on discrete GPU while the WebGL context is active. In fact, changing GPUs while supporting WebGL content is known to be a source of system instability. If you were using Firefox in webgl at this point, it could potentially prevent this crash. If it turns out that you are not using WebGL, I don’t know what to do: we don’t ask Firefox to constantly use different GPUs like my wife and I, we received thousands of legitimate user complaints about our own battery drain.

Can you reproduce with plugins disabled?I was convinced that if this site was creating graphics intensive plugins that could have the same problems as WebGL with GPU switching, it would explain discrete GPU while bGL contexts are alive.You can transport GPU switches using the gfxCardStatus utility.
