Safe Mode is designed to help you see problems with your apps and widgets, but some parts of your phone will be disabled. Pressing or holding certain keys during Boot Boot will enter recovery mode.

Restart The Client Computer In Safe Or Normal Mode

Note. GoToAssist must be automatically started as a service to use this feature.

1. During an automatic or auxiliary session For a support session, click Tools> Restart or Restart in Safe Mode on the specific viewer toolbar.

2. If you are in a session, the client will display the computer restart dialog. You must click Yes to allow the restart or No to cancel. If you are in an unsupervised support session, the restart occurs accordingly without additional prompts.

3. The client computer will probably restart and then automatically reconnect to the Boost session (screen sharing will be paused until reconnected).
4. Once the client computer is reconnected, this Windows logon screen is displayed.
   • Provider automatic sessions. If the client received the password from the remote assistant, log in automatically. Otherwise, you really need to be logged in with the appropriate Windows account.

Restart The Client Computer Displayed In Normal Or Safe Mode

1. During an automated or supervised support session, in some viewer toolbars, click Tools> Restart or Restart in Safe Mode.

2. When a person participates in a monitored session, a special “Restart Computer” dialog box appears on his screen. You must click Yes to approve the restart or No to cancel. If you are in the automatic support period, the restart will be performed immediately, without additional prompts.
