I have a problem on my work computer. On older computers the auto-lock time may be quite reasonable as I moved to a new computer this only happens for 2 minutes of inactivity.

Many searches msdn google. the old one locked up, this computer wouldn’t happen if I moved the new mouse in the first few minutes I’ve seen a lot of computers that usually lock one (after a period of inactivity) but don’t activate the screen saver, so there must be an option to lock the computer that DOES NOT nothing NOT related to its screen and memory function but no one knows what it is?

I guess I’m nobody because I know where he is.

Two things may lead to inactivity:

< p>1) Screen saver. Maybet be password protected. See “password protected on resume” screen saver settings.

    2) Power management. “Enter a password when the computer wakes up” hibernation for the Power Options Control Panel applet.>
