Here are some simple steps that can help solve the problem of closing open ports in Windows.

g.In the new Windows Control Panel, go to System and Security -> Windows Firewall and click the Advanced Settings area item. In the “View and Create Policy Rules” section, select the “Inbound Rules” shopping list item. In the list of incoming messages, find the rule for the port you want to close.

If users want to close an open port, he can do so with this Windows Firewall (Windows Defender Firewall for Windows 10). For example, suppose you want to close port 5500 for all incoming friends. Follow the instructions below.
- Open Windows Firewall from Start | Control Panel | Firewall window. If you are running Windows 10, enter “Windows Defender Firewall” (without quotes) in the search box. (See Figure 1.)
- Click the Advanced Settings link on the left. (See Figure 2.)
- Click the Inbound Rules link on the left. Windows displays a list of all firewall rules that I consider to be incoming.
- Right-click the Inbound Rules shortcut and select New Rule from the shortcut menu that appears. Windows displays the first concept of the New Inbound Rule Wizard (see Figure 3).
- Since someone wants to close a specific port, select the Port radio button and click Next. With the help of the wizard, you can sometimes specify which port you want to influence. (See Figure 4.)
- You want each of our rules to apply to TCP, so click the radio button and also enter “5500” (without quotes) in the text packet. Then click Next to proceed to the next step of the wizard. (See Figure 5.)
- Click the Lock radio button and click Next to display the next step in the wizard. (See Figure 6.)
- Make sure all flower beds are checked and click “Next” again to continue. (See Figure 7.)
- Enter a name to follow the rule and, if necessary, enter a signreading, then click Finish.
