I tried to ignore the g variable and actTried hard to urlopen ("http://www.google.com/") successfully (it gives the same error after the same linked time).

The Python installation may be incorrect. If you need to install multiple versions of Python, it is important to do so as part of the correct procedure, otherwise all Python will crash along with system tools like Yummy, Setup, etc.
