Choosing a specific “Show hidden files and folders” option in Windows (XP) does not affect my folders. It sticks to the general “do not show” options folder. How can I solve this problem?

How do I make hidden files back to normal?
Click the Start button, then Control Panel > Appearanceand personalization. Select Folder Options, then the Basic View tab. In the “Advanced settings” section, select “Show hidden files, folders and drives” and just click “OK”.
In rsvp to hidden, the option “Show files, don’t mention folders” has no effect on Windows (XP)
Are you logged in as “Administrator”? Or do you have admin rights? It won’t last without it. -d

Can hidden files be recovered?
If you have probably lost or deleted hidden files or maybe even folders, you can use personal information recovery software to restore them. Select a drive that contains only hidden files or folders that you normally want to recover. Click Search due to data loss. This will find all hidden files that have been deleted.

Time to answer the question “Yes, it’s me”
… If you go to the windows explorer screen (everything should work) and click “tools” first, a “dropdown” will appear. And then you clicked Folder Options. On this card, you clicked View Invoice. Then click the small folder icon on “Show hidden folders with files”. Is that what you were doing there? There is also another block here: the “Hide protected files” system must be disabled for people to see them. Then you activated “Apply” and “OK”. Is this the task you used? I think you need a “reboot” to get both working.
If that’s what you brought and did, it’s notworked, let the country know. Is it a desk or a laptop? XP home or professional? (there may be a difference in the shoulder joint) -d -

Permission What files are we viewing?
I do what I described, restarted everything and everything, but nothing. When I click “Apply” nothing happens. If I close the window and reopen it, the “Don’t show hidden files…” option is enabled again. as if it turns out that the system does not accept any other installation. I discovered the problem by hiding a folder that I created myself. When I search for it, I say I see it (directory:H). Even if I “select all” in the file it’s in, it will share the hidden folder with me. I really feel like I’m using an XP Pro laptop.

Refers to:? Floppy?
This is currently what I have when I need to view secret files, but it doesn’t work for many C files: it’s very annoying to have to do it every time, ie. execute the command quickly, so I need a solution, it will definitely solve the problem

In response to the “Show hidden files and folders” setting, this setting has little effect on Windows (XP)
Create another account with administrator rights and therefore log in to the computer with the actual account. After logging in, try doing the same. In the Tools-Folder Options-View section, many files are displayed. See if it works. If it works against each other, the reason might be that your main profile is corrupt, maybe for PC or something…
