Over the past few weeks, some users have encountered a known error with event ID 3024 on the source ActiveSync server. This issue occurs due to a number of factors. Let’s discuss this below.

This bug is somewhat critical and will likely prevent any mobile device using ActiveSync from receiving push notifications (see event 3015 below from the same source).

reason:
this is because the server on which the dynamic naming service is listening on a UDP transmission is being used by another service.

Solution:
To finally resolve this conflict, we need to park the AUTD udp port so that DNS doesn’t try to call it using the conflict.

To set the market price for redundant ports, do the following:
Click Run, Start, Mode, and regedit, then click OK. Find
then subkey: click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters
Then right-click the ReservedPorts button and/or select Edit.
Add the following to the list of existing values:
2883-2883

Click OK.
