    Reason

    1. You are using an account logged on through Local Group Policy or Domain Group Policy.

    2. Certain registry settings prevent the use of the Task Manager.

    1. Make sure a local or domain policy group is not preventing you from using Task Manager.

        1. Select Start> Run, type Gpedit.msc paired with and press Enter.
